Tina & Katie Duncan, mother & daughter, have been cooking together for years. Tina, former owner of Christchurch’s White Tie Catering and currently the city’s cult hit “Fluff Oysters” raised her daughter in the kitchen and on the event floor, leading Katie to buy White Tie from her parents 7 years ago.
Together, they have mastered the art of feeding the family and a crowd, and as true caterers do, work to prepare everything in advance so that when guests arrive, they are out having a glass of champagne and not tied to the oven. This is the class to free you from kitchen constraints when entertaining, helping you with all the tools to prepare a truly epic meal while also being able to play host, chat and socialise with your guests.
With four daughters, three sons-in-law and six grandchildren, even a casual Duncan family dinner means a crowd, so Tina & Katie will also show you some quick easy options for a Sunday night around the table.

Should no suitable dates be available we will give you a gift voucher for the full value which can be used in our Kitchen Shop and online or for a future class. If preferred we would arrange a full refund. Classes and events are otherwise non-refundable.
