24 APRIL 2018: This class for kids 9-14 is all about showing that a roast chicken dinner and apple dessert is not as scary as you think. It’s also a meal everyone loves, so a good place for kids to start.
Wrapped in their aprons, and with a Ruth Pretty chef to help, our budding chefs will learn to plan the steps involved in putting a Roast Chicken with Stuffing and Gravy, Scout Potatoes and Roasted Autumn Vegetable Salad together so it’s all ready at the same time with the minimum of fuss. Then the best part – everyone’s favourite dessert, Apple Crumble. Ruth says she could cook a roast at 11 and is looking forward to sharing that same sense of achievement with other youngsters.
