Ruth is a firm believer that every kid can and should learn to cook. Hundreds of kids (aged 9-14) to date have agreed, and had a lot of fun doing so in her kitchen. They are shown what to do, and then they do it themselves, wrapped up in Ruth Pretty Catering aprons, with Ruth’s chefs there to give them a hand if needed.

These classes are as popular with Ruth’s chefs as for the kids – they ask specially if they can be on those days. "It’s fantastic to see how excited the kids are about this, and how carefully they make their dishes. Eating the results is good but taking something home for the family to see is even better,” she reports.

We supply everything, and kids take home recipes, skills, enthusiasm and a wonderful sense of achievement.
