Under the inspiration of Julie Clark, the airy, light-filled Floriditas Cafe in Cuba Street has become a Wellington foodie icon. Seemingly open from dawn to midnight, the menu changes during the day to meet different appetites but retains a similarly light style with friendly, personal touches. Julie says "seasonal produce is now a mainstream tenet but it is not really a modern trend just an old one remembered” and that "cooking for me is about the alchemy of taste and texture combinations”.
