It may surprise you to know that many of Logan Brown’s stylish, seasonal dishes originate at home with Head Chef Shaun Clouston’s family and friends. Shaun will share some of those inspirations and techniques for "classical but skillfully cooked dishes” showing how you can achieve consistent results at home with a dash of restaurant flair. His food is "generous, full-flavoured and honest” with a heavy emphasis on local, seasonal, ethical and environmentally-friendly products and suppliers. A relaxed and good-humoured presenter, Shaun makes cooking look deceptively easy and fun while tossing out tips and ideas for taste, texture and presentation.  Shaun says "I knew I was going to be a chef from the early toast and Marmite platters I made for my mum when I was 6”. He worked in many big name restaurants in New Zealand and Australia, and was invited back to Wellington with the lure of becoming Logan Brown’s Head Chef – arguably the capital’s top chef position – and later a business partner. Contrary to TV shows, top chefs need not be aggressive and Shaun says his style is more "nurturing and served up with a good sense of humour.
