This is Peta's description of food and hospitality in her much-loved Languedoc region of Southern France; it suits her exuberant style perfectly too. While we can’t recreate French medieval village markets at Springfield, bountiful local seasonal produce will certainly give colour and depth to Peta’s rustic flavourful French menu. Based in Uzès (near Nimes and Avignon) for the northern summer, Peta hosts gastro-nomad tours and cooking classes. As much story-teller as cook, Peta will share not only the "serene blend of food, laughter and lifestyle” of Southern France but also tales of doing up an old house in Uzès while exploring local cuisine. She says "the food has a touch of Spain, a pinch of Italy and a dollop of Ancient Rome” so expect tasty treats, music and pictures.
