 Join Lucy Corry, passionate home cook and author of new book, Homecooked (which BTW will be available to purchase on the day), for a delicious day of her favourite things to eat and cook with friends and family.

 Lucy is an award-winning Wellington writer who loves to cook, eat, read and think about food. She's adamant that home cooking - rather than eating takeaways in front of food shows on TV - is the cure for what ails us. Homecooked features hundreds of recipes, inspired ideas and wise ways to use flavoursome New Zealand produce. It's brilliantly written, funny and trustworthy, with an emphasis on using (and using up!) real, fresh and accessible ingredients. It's enticing, achievable and truly good food that reconnects us to home.

 Homecooked is Lucy's first book. As a journalist, her work has featured in Canvas, Sunday, Your Weekend, Frankie, Cuisine, NZ Life & Leisure, Nadia Journal and Gourmet Traveller,, and In recent years she has co-authored the Ockham award winning Hiakai:Modern Maori Cuisine and written the much-loved Burger Wellington cookbook.

 We know you will love this class and you will always have the answer for “What’s for dinner?”

If any 2021 Class or Special Event dates are not able to proceed due to Covid-19 we would try first to reschedule you to a suitable date. Should no suitable dates be available we will give you a gift voucher for the full value which can be used in our Kitchen Shop and online or for a future class. If preferred we would arrange a full refund. Classes and events are otherwise non-refundable. 

Dietary requirements

We will provide alternative menu items that are gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and nut free. If your dietary requirements fall outside of this, please phone before booking.
