Did you know July is the coldest month of the year? This calls for some winter warmers… Ruth presents “It’s a Roast!” for our next school holiday cooking classes.

The kids – all wrapped up in our aprons, endearingly usually several sizes too large – love these classes, but so do our staff! The noise and excitement levels are high as our would-be cooks get right into the swing of the thing.

We show them what to do and they make their own food to enjoy for lunch and take some samples home, with great pride. 

Suitable for 8-14-year olds

 10:30am - 2:30pm in Ruth’s house kitchen

Remember up to two chauffeurs can join for a complimentary morning tea from 9.45am in our Garden Room before leaving young chefs.

If any 2022 Class or Special Event dates are not able to proceed due to Covid-19 we would try first to reschedule you to a suitable date. Should no suitable dates be available we will give you a gift voucher for the full value which can be used in our Kitchen Shop and online or for a future class. Classes and events are otherwise non-refundable. 

Dietary requirements

We will provide alternative menu items that are gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and nut free. If your dietary requirements fall outside of this, please phone before booking.
