CHOCOLATE GANACHE FOR SERENA'S CHEATING CHOCOLATE CAKE
(makes 600ml)This recipe goes with Serena's Cheating Chocolate Cake
300g dark chocolate (preferably 70% buttons or coarsely chopped tablet)
- Place cream into a saucepan over a medium heat and bring to the boil. Place chocolate into a bowl.
- Pour scalded cream over chocolate and stir till smooth. Leave at room temperature and cool for 30 minutes, or till Chocolate Ganache has thickened to a spreadable consistency. The edge will be thicker sooner than the centre so stir a few times as it is cooling to incorporate the two consistencies
