Caramel for Chocolate Caramel Martinis recipe
This recipe forms a part of the Michael Lee-Richard's Chocolate Caramel Martinis recipe.
395g (1 tin) sweetened condensed milk
125g butter (chopped)
40g (3 tbsp) golden syrup
150g (3/4 cup) sugar
- Place condensed milk, butter, golden syrup and sugar in a double boiler (a pot set over another pot; the top pot should fit tightly, water is placed in the bottom pot but not so it touches the base of the top pot).
- Place double boiler over a low heat and heat gently for about 20 minutes till sugar has dissolved and mixture has become caramel coloure
