FIVE SPICE MARINADE

This recipe goes with Roast Rack of Lamb with Chinese Flavours and Spiced Kumquats recipe


INGREDIENTS

1 clove garlic (peeled)
3cm fresh ginger (peeled)
45mL (3 tbsp) soy sauce
1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
15mL (1 tbsp) hoisin sauce

45g (3 tbsp) brown sugar
15mL (1 tbsp) sherry
15mL (1 tbsp) sesame oil
150mL salad oil

METHOD

  • Put all ingredients into a food processor fitted with a metal blade and process until smooth.
