A generous double-scoop ice cream packed full of familiar and not-so-familiar flavour is just the ticket over the Easter break. So many people stay on the Kapiti Coast or cruise through over Easter that Ruth has succumbed to customer requests, and will serve her outrageously excellent hand-made ice cream in the Garden Room at Springfield on Saturday 4 April.

Coffee and cake will also be available and (yes) the Kitchen Shop will be open too.

Flavour testing is underway, but the hot gossip about cool ice-cream is that creative specialities like Caramelised Macadamia and Wattleseed will be on the menu, alongside more familiar Raspberry and possibly even Ruth’s take on Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream. Just pop in to Springfield in Te Horo (see map).
