HOT ROASTED VINE TOMATOES

(serves 6-8)
You may prefer to use cherry tomatoes. If so increase the quantity and decrease the cooking time.
INGREDIENTS
500g (20) small round tomatoes with calyxes on
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Cut a small thin slice off the base of each tomato to help it sit flat.
- Cut each tomato in half through the waist and put the tomato back together as a whole.
- Place tomatoes in roasting tray.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes or till tomatoes are soft and skins are just lifting.
- Serve warm.
