Lemon Syrup
Description
(makes 160ml)
INGREDIENTS
100g (1/2 cup) sugar 65ml (1/4 cup) water |
70ml (1/4 cup plus 1 tsp) lemon juice |
METHOD
- Place sugar and water into a small pot set over a low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add lemon juice and bring to the boil. Boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Used to make Lemon Olive Oil Cakes with Lemon Drizzle and Vanilla Cream.
